At Ixous we have a vision. We went from playing video games to fishing all day long. A day of fishing has a supernatural way of unlocking the floodgates of memory, transporting you to moments steeped in nostalgia. The act of fishing, seemingly simple, becomes a gateway to a treasure trove of experiences, prompting reflection on the journey of life and the joy found in those moments by the water's edge. Our fishing adventures are what brought this idea into a reality. Fishing all day made us realize how fast time really goes and to really embrace all the time you have because you never know when it could be your last. We truly gained consciousness of this philosophy from the time spent fishing, but we pertained it towards everyday activities which helped us to truly embrace life. This led us to come up with our brand name “IXOUS" and the slogan "Embrace The Odyssey".  The fall of our senior year of high school was when we began the journey to bring this vision to a reality.

“Ixous'' is an adapted version of the Greek  word "ἰχθύς" (ichthýs), which means "fish" in English. Ixous is the referred word for fish in the ancient Greek language. Later on we came up with the slogan “Embrace The Odyssey'' which tells us to embrace the journey of life and welcome every second of it, even the harsh ones.  Embrace mistakes as crucial stepping stones on your journey,  for they are the raw material from which character is forged, and growth springs forth. Every second of our journey becomes an experience that you can never relive which later becomes a memory.  After all, we are only given one life, so EMBRACE every second of it!
